High Point

This is the most common way to ride Thunder Mountain. There is a small percentage of people that like to ride it as an out-n-back, which includes some good cardio and a couple hike-a-bike sections. This loop takes you up the scenic canyon on a paved bike path until you get to the Coyote Hollow Road. Ride up the dirt road to the top of the trail and then let her rip.

Trail was very dry other than a couple of low lying spots on beginning climb that were wet with some mud. Switchbacks on downhill side had a lot of lose rock so a little squirly at times. Overall, the trail was in perfect riding condition.
