This is the most common way to ride Thunder Mountain. There is a small percentage of people that like to ride it as an out-n-back, which includes some good cardio and a couple hike-a-bike sections. This loop takes you up the scenic canyon on a paved bike path until you get to the Coyote Hollow Road. Ride up the dirt road to the top of the trail and then let her rip.

Why has the Thunder Mountain trail information disappeared from the Trailforks database?

I’m not seeing the Thunder Mountain trail either but other people are. My maps are up to date.

The trail designers should win an award for this one. Worth the drive from Denver.
