An El(khorn) Classico. This ride starts at the Willard Creek trailhead. The first part winds along Willard Creek ponds with a good chance of hearing elk bugle or seeing a moose, and more fun singletrack downhill than you deserve along McClellan Creek. After riding the McClellan/Maupin connector you can ride over to Mill Creek and back to Willard trail head or if you're feeling adventurous, you can ride upper Maupin back to Willard Creek trail.

Willard Creek Loop is a 9 mile moderately popular intermediate route located near Helena Montana. This mountain bike only route can be used both directions and has a moderate overall physical rating. This route includes 5 trails. This route climbs 1,558 ft with a max elevation of 5,838 ft then descends -1,546 ft.
