EN The Wistätt Loop is one of the best singletrail tours in the Simmental and Saanenland regions

The ascent requires a good level of fitness. On asphalt and later on gravel roads, the route leads through a side valley up to an altitude of 1800 m. From here it becomes very steep until the Trüttlisberg Pass is reached. The ascent is rewarded with a breathtaking view from the Saanenland to the Wilstrubel. A varied trail below the Wistätthore leads along the mountain flank to the Rüwlisepass. This section goes up and down, the terrain is very varied, sometimes rocky, sometimes flowy and sometimes exposed. The trail has some key technical sections and is not completely rideable. From the Rüwlis Pass, the first part is on a tarmac road to the Bire, where the path leads left into the forest. The descent into the valley is another real singletrail highlight with roots and technical passages, but also flowing turns down to St. Stephan.

Alternatively, you can take the Betelberg gondola lift up to Leiterli. From here, it's over the Gryden to the Trüttlisberg Pass. However, this section is very popular with hikers on nice days
