Named 'Mortgage' because the word directly translates from Latin as "Deathgrip". The trail builders were looking to add some less steep and brakeless riding to the area. It follows a south facing ridgeline therefore will be clear of snow earlier than other trails in the Baseline network.
All jumps and drops have ride arounds and some are gaps so look before you leap.
There's no way to shuttle this one so it should provide many seasons of loamy goodness
Take Spider Road for a quick pedal, skipping 1st Mortgage. Expect to complete the half loop in around an hour.
