701 Loop

This trail is awesome for those with some cross country fitness. Go out and connect this with some flowy sections like trail mix to put together a fun loop.

Update: rode this trail with my ebike and it's much more fun since you can power through the sand/gravel and get speed for features.

Overall - not fun, would not ride again. This whole area feels like you're pedaling uphill the entire time because it's all on sand/gravel with rocks everywhere to further break your speed. Even when you get going downhill, you have to work to get any speed, which is immediately taken away from you by sending you into deep gravel pits. You pretty much need to pedal constantly because when you start coasting you will be usually dragged to a stop within feet. On top of that, this whole trail system has way too many connectors and different trails. None of them offer anything you won't see on the main loops, but it causes you to stop a lot to look at your map since you will be forced into confusing intersections, many of which are not labeled.
