En hiver, ce sentier s'emprunte principalement en sens anti-horaire | 1 km) et il est entretenu afin de permettre un usage partagé entre l’ensemble des pratiques. Avec le sentier Express point de vue, ce sentier peut être emprunté sans raquette (en bottes) en tout temps même lorsque la neige est molle.
En été, ce sentier offre une alternative idéale pour les familles avec son passage à proximité des modules d'hébertisme, de l'aire de pique-nique et du sentier Art-Nature.
Les chiens sont admis en laisse en tout temps en randonnée/raquettes seulement et uniquement. Sac à déchets obligatoires.
Les chiens ne sont pas admis en vélo ou en ski, même dans les sentiers partagés.
