Abe’s Trail (1.5 miles) Trail begins at junction with Beaver Pond Trail 0.5 miles from Trailhead on Crow Creek Road
next to bridge over California Creek. Rises through the forest to tree line. A fun technical decent but can be ridden up hill for a ways with hike-a-bike sections. Be careful as this is a hiking trail as well. This trail has several small drops, very steep runs, large roots and white knuckle corners that are mandatory; not recommended for beginner or lower intermediate riders. It is one of the best tech trails in Southcentral Alaska.

Access Info

From Alyeska Highway take a left on to Crow Creek Highway. You will pass the Double Musky and a few turn offs. The trail head is at California Creek.

Took advantage of the nice fall day and rode Abe’s. A few wet spots down low but overall in great condition, nice and grippy. Super fun.
