This segment connects the Van Scoy Pond area with Cedar Point County Park, don't miss the sharp right that takes you to the gate in the fence that takes you into Cedar Point Park. After you pass the entrance booth area go diagonally across the entrance road to the nature trail entrance. The trails here are mowed to keep down the ticks.
