The Arrowhead Loop trail is a single-track trail that loops the Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve. Currently, the trail can be ridden counterclockwise only. There are a few bridges along the route, along with several hairpin turns. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including deer, turkeys, rabbits, and bobcats.
The trail is not particularly challenging. It is smooth and gravely, exhibiting some dust in the hotter moths, but does not have any sections that are rocky or treacherous. Care should be taken to ride safely since some turns are off-camber.
The trailhead leaves from the parking lot. After about a quarter-mile, a left turn off the initial dirt road would put you on the trail in a clockwise direction, but that is not permitted, so don't go that way. Instead, continue straight on the dirt road a bit longer to turn left onto the trail in a counterclockwise direction (the authorized routing).
Trail is smooth but has lots of off-camber turns that can send novice riders down the hill if they are not careful.
