Probably the most popular downhill trail on Doi Suthep and it's easy to see why. The trail is fast and flowy, it has quite a few jumps plus a few technical challenges, all of which increases the fun factor. It starts on Sriwichai Rd. a few bends below Bhubing Palace and ends at Wat Pong Noi Temple near Canal Road. Difficulty is medium. The trail begins with a series of jumps followed by a forested flow section. Expect plenty of roots and ruts, a few short steep sections, natural berms, and don't miss the view on the right hand sight towards the neighbouring Ob Khan national park. The soil is loamy at the top and rocky and loose at the bottom. Watch out for low hanging bamboo.

Trail is running great. A 6 man work crew spent nearly 7 hours clearing fallen trees and re-routing in the heavily rutted sections.

Trail is running fine - it was recently burned by the forest fires which has ruined the lush, bamboo surrounding the trail but has made it easier...

Overall the trail is in good condition. A little overgrown is some spots. We cleared out some larger branches to make the trail almost 100% clear...

Is this trail open? I passed by where the entrance is supposed to be and it looks like a construction site, is fenced off and has a 'no bikes' sign up.
