The trail is fairly smooth and easy. It has good flow. Much of the loop is next to a brook and around a pond. In 2022 two new sections were completed that make it possible to make this loop entirely on single track, rather than using sections of double track ski trails/woods roads. In winter this change to the loop keeps skiers and bikers on separate trails.
