This trail starts of with a steep rock drop to the left. Alternately, you can flat gap the large crack if you approach from the North end of the rock drop (believe it or not.) Once down in the basin, you have access to a few different trails.
Past the tree on the border of grass and rock, is the entrance to the bush with a short step up to the right. Inside the bush is a rocky, yet loamy in parts, loop that has a few unfinished side trails as well. One of these heads down the river towards Heron Road bridge and Carleton U, through a massive boulder garden, but unfortunately ends dead by the water.
Another cool feature just before entering the bush is up the large natural stone steps to the left, which require an immense amount of skill and strength to climb on bike. There's a pathway along the top that has yet to be connected to the rock garden or bush beyond, but offers a nice overlooking view. This segment is fun as hell and challenging to descend.
Top o' the falls
This trail is unsanctioned.
Keep an eye out for the short steel anchor bolts embedded in the rock at the falls.
