The trail is gradual descent which provide for a nice flowy fast section of trail. But it does have a few windy sections that slow you in a few corners. (need to add some berms to keep the flow)
History:
The trail was originally named Bolder Blast around 1998, later when the trail sign was lost, sometime around 2005, it got the name Bumble Bee after a rider disturbed a beehive on the trail and was stung. Altered to work with pipeline right of way put in in 2012, modified in 2013. Closed in 2015 due to ongoing maintenance on the west side levee. In January 2020 BTU gave BVMBA the go to reestablish the trails on the West Loop. In Apr of 2020 the trail was re-established, and had to go under a few alterations where it lost some of its flow, but were necessary to reestablish the trail and keep it in the woods.
