I stopped counting at 6 trees across the trail. I was able to lift my heavy bike over them. I moved one but the rest were too big. Still a fun ride.

I’m 67 and only an advanced beginner riding an emtb. I like this trail but parts of it scare me. There are some very chunky sections, some tight switchbacks, rocks, roots and more roots. All of the bridges look suspect but seem firm enough when going over. There are a lot of pine trees down around the trail in some spots and a lot of limbs on the trail that require your attention. Trail marking is pretty confusing as others have said. I hope this helps someone at my experience level.

At times the trail is not very well marked when it gets close or intersects with other tails. There is also a lot of foot traffic and people making short cuts in these trails. Makes it really difficult to know if you’re on the right path. Once you’re in the backside of the trail it’s great, however; the new subdivision going in on the back side has cut a part of the trail off due to rain water wash out do be careful.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
