This trail can also be accessed from the top via the parking lot behind The Log Cabin/Tavern on the Hill. A very short connecting trail places you at the very beginning of the north side downhill section. Also acts as a great pitstop if you do ascend from the bottom - the view is great!

What a great loop! Great for a climbing training session as it’s a pretty continuous and fairly steep climb. The terrain is pretty smooth so it’s actually easy riding excepting the fact that you’re climbing then descending 600’ in 3mi.
I went counter clockwise and I’d say that it’s slightly more technical on the southern side and has very nice bermed turns on the northern side. Next time I’ll try the opposite way. Going one way then reversing and going the other would be a nice ride too.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
