From the top, Broken Hip starts with a rocky descent leading into a choice of three lines: one features a tight switchback and a somewhat rocky descent, one includes an a-frame style rock feature followed by a steep descent down a series of rock slabs and the other is very loose and blown out. Only the line with the switchback can be climbed. Below this area the trail smooths out.
