This non motorized trail is probably a better hike than bike. This is the trail from the Bear Valley Trail to lower Buck Lake. If you are willing to push your bike up some sections the ride down is rewarding. The trail is primitive and can be rough, rooty, and rocky. There is a crossing required of Bear Valley Creek. The view from the lake is good. When we were there we watched ospreys catch fish from the lake. Be for-warned that there are several steep sections of trail going up to the lake.

Access Info

Access is off the Bear Valley Lake Trail. There was a sign at the junction.
