mtb Rode up the west side of the loop and it’s rocky and loose but rideable - a few sustained steep sections but for the most part enjoyable Dryview

mtb Too much pumice rock covering the trail that you lose traction almost every other quarter of a mile, needs to be cleared out first to be considered rideable. Very Dryview

mtb I was tempted to list this trail condition as "Ideal" because "Dry" is pretty much normal here. The trail has a few bushes that will grab your jersey as you ride by, but is otherwise a great and challenging trail. Dryview

mtb The west side of the loop has more or less eroded down to the base rock layer, and was cleaned up in October 2019. Can be ridden down at speed, though you should still watch out for loose babyheads that can knock you off the line and into a cactus.

The east side of the loop has been abandoned, and will eventually be rerouted.

mtb Major erosion (major ruts or slumping, large boulders and roots exposed due to erosion). This is one of the oldest trails in the area, and it wasn't routed/built with sustainability in mind. We had managed to keep it somewhat rideable with band-aid fixes, but Hurricane Rosa finished it off. We are not going to waste our time trying to salvage this trail. It is, however, still open for use - ride/hike at your own risk. Unknownview
