This is perhaps the best flow section on Catamount. When descending, stay left at the fork about 1/4 way down for a short but fun downhill only section. This section of Catamount slopes the opposite direction from the Upper Catamount section.

Access Info

Access from Upper Catamount or from Lost Creek Trail that runs perpendicular to Catamount.

The trail is not accessible right now due to logging operations. I forged thru there today and it really sucked. The rest of catamount trail was absolutely excellent!!

Covered in limbs and needles, 24” tree blowdown at chest high.
