The latest addition to the CDT in this area makes it possible to do a through ride if you can organize logistics. It's recommended to start at the eastern end and ride through towards Lower Seymour Lake: the trail gets better as you go along and you have the sweet downhill at the end.
Unless you have a "real" 4x4, the easiest to access the CDT from this side is to park on Dry Creek Rd at the bottom of 6-mile Creek Rd and ride up from there. At a junction you turn left onto a non-motorized doubletrack. After about 1 mile near the top of the climb you will come face to face with a CDT trail sign. At this point the trail goes RIGHT and follows wooden CDT trail markers. The first 100 yards or so have not had any ground work, so don't make the mistake of continuing straight down the hill.
