New re-routed Channel Lock trail. Grade now averages less than 7% for an easier climb up and increased drainage opportunity. Old Channel Lock trail was reclaimed. Re-route made possible through an Idaho Parks and Recreation grant and completed by Mountain Bike the Tetons trail crew in May 2019.

 Snow and rain have created wet and muddy conditions. Avoid use until we get a couple days of sunshine and warmer temps.

      A super fun downhill with lots of swoopy banked turns.

      Rode this for the first time ever as a descent, having done a "clockwise loop of almost all the singletrack in South Horseshoe. These last two trails, Southbound and Channel Lock, made this an epic ride. Kudos to MBT for the great trail work. Next time, I will both start (climb) and end (descend) my ride here on Channel Lock.
