Excellent natural singletrack descent, rode it alone and for safety I’m not ashamed to say I walked a few tech sections which I’d have attempted on a group ride. The top section near the damn was a bit of a bog/stream in early May but the flow improved as the descent continued. A big climb but well worth it. Especially on an eMTB.

Definitely a black XC route- lots of technical bits with rock, water, more rock, more water, and the occasional stream crossing. Plenty of rocks lined up to knock you off the trail or to slip on. You'll get wet feet regardless. Still a good craic though- the location and challenge is one of a kind and truly special.
