Commuter Combo is a paved pedestrian path between Takhini Subdivision and Porter Creek Subdivision. It's also close to the Yukon University. It was developed by the City of Whitehorse to encourage non-motorized commuting. The path is not continuous and crosses five roads. Each section of the path is marked with two or three white posts approximately three feet high. There are small stop signs along the path at all the road crossings. If you're riding from Takhini Subdivision to Porter Creek Subdivision, expect a long climb up to the top of Pine Street. This climb is the reason for an overall trail rating of Blue. Riding the path in the opposite direction is much easier as there are no long climbs. The path is often plowed in the winter.

Access Info

The trail can be accessed from the top of Pine Street in the Porter Creek Subdivision and from Falaise Road in the Takhini Subdivision.

Perfect commute right now; caution around heavy equipment on the pine street side. Lots of snow removal going on.
