I know you can submit trails and name them. I just wanna know why people don't name them properly? I mean if someone runs into me in the desert and asks "where is Connectosaurus and Inner voice?" I would be like WTF? Never herd of it. Because its happend to me, I just don't think its helpful to name trails a different name. People should just use the names everyone knows them as.

The fact that people ask you where connectosaurus and inner voice are is proof that not everyone knows them as what you are suggesting. Please alert the community where all the trail names are physicaly located so that we can properly name them. Please alert the community where a pre-existing map of mountain bike trails is located so that we can reach commonality.

Thanks!

If someones asks me where a trail is, I would defiantly say they don't know where it is. Don't know how i suggested otherwise? But I know where pretty much all the trails are, been a desert rat my whole life. So to help people from out of town or people just starting to ride find these trails, they should be named the common name. We haven't had a good map with all the trails with there proper names, so I can't show that to you. That is why Trailforks is a awesome tool for helping people shred new trails! Naming these trails names that no one knows is just kinda wild. 99.9% of people around here call Blacks, Blacks. I think only one person in the whole valley calls it Road Runner? Don't think its that hard to find commonality.

Brent is right, I have been a Desert Rat for FIFTY YEARs and these names are ridiculous!

Please update this trail to the proper name of "Ceasar Chavez' Run".

Thanks

I'd agree with brentoncor, having been riding this area since the early 90's it would be nice to use the more commonly used trail/loop/route names. Too many of the local trails seem to have 2 or more names depending on who you ask, where you look (i.e. Strava, Trailforks, etc)

I've asked for a few trail edits to make the names more common ones. And your right I should of been marking those trails to help people out. I think its awesome that someone did that, just not sure about the names. And don't know who is cool with those names? I don't think the person who named those trails is not as into commonality as you are. So definitely looking forward to everyone being on the same page. Thanks man! Hope U get to shred some sweet trails this weekend!
