A secondary way to access the trails on Signal Peak from the Cranor Hill Ski Area. From CR 10 at the Cranor Hill Warming Hut follow the double track past the base of the poma and follow it up the looker's left side of the ski hill. When you reach the top of the Poma lift and the ski hill, the trail turns into single track and keeps heading up toward Signal Peak. Turn right toward Rasta Gulch and the town of Gunnison, or turn left toward Chicken Wing and Signal Peak
