From the trail head behind the CREC you head down a double track, across a rock garden that is held in place by mesh wire and have opportunities to ride on veterans, old grey, over to blue route trail or up to northbrook,

The downhill becomes a steep uphill on grass on the way out. climbing is only "difficult" because of how steep it is periodically. Not really that difficult.
