If you are a beginner or do not do jumps, then this is not for you. There are three jumps in the top section, you then go up and over a hedge, then off a drop off. You then have another small jump into a partly bermed corner. Then a sharp right before a pond. Then down two more drops, over a table top and down a short rut section to the road. Hard on the breaks to avoid the gorse and drop. All this in about 40 seconds! Loads of fun, lots going on, but you need to know what you are doing.

Sorry, when adding this trail I must have ticked the wrong box! This is a forestry red trail or black - not a proline as stated above. I have made an edit, I hope it is approved soon to rectify the mistake.

Turns out that if there are jumps on the trail, it has to be a 'proline' orange. I would not say it was really a pro standard trail - I am no pro, but that said, only ride this if you know what you are doing. Still think it should be a red or black!

Rebuilt the first jump today, so much faster on the down ramp and loads more air! Also added a berm in the second section to help with the turn by the pond. Great day!

Nice to see something local, Good on you guys.
Far more than I can get over but I'll have a look next time I wobble that direction, might be a single jump or two I can practice on.

Theres a small jump area at Carn Brea on the Carnkie side that could do with this sort of work.

For CornishCactus - Thanks for the comment, I know about the place in Carnkie, we have done a little building there before. The winter weather has not been kind to it, but we are planning to do a little revamp soon! See you on the trail.

If that means you don't need to jump the berm and end up in the trees that'd be great Big Grin

I will let our chief digger know! But I know what you mean, I have ended up in there too - especially when you start sliding on the wet mossy grass!

A little jump practice there today, went really well. Also got some good times on the full run!

Is that another little run starting at the transformer at the top of the hill there? Looks like a nice set of bends in it.

Not sure to be honest - never checked. I did spot it today, really need to look around the place a little more! I think there is a line through the wooded area behind the jumps too!

It's all fairly wll known stuff.
I'm looking to try out the two lines past Carn Brea Castle sometime and will add them when I do

Riding well again today, someone has re-dug a channel from the pond/massive puddle to drain it, but it has not really damaged the new berm. Fun as always!

Riding very well, some quick times and the jumps were really flying. No need for digging, just got stuck into the riding. Good to be out there with Tris and having a catch up.

Had a pay around here in the snow today. Think I did this run, easy enough to follow at the top but the snow hid any clues as to the line further on, went over a hedge and down a drop so I may have been about right.
Also tried the trail from the power station, looks like it needs some work and rocks cleared but could be good fun.
Best bit is it links on to this trail, a berm before the first jump and you'd add another hundred yards and 3 berms to it.

Over the hedge sounds right! Good work having a go in the snow! I was there on Sunday with three mates, running well now, but still a little damp. I will have to look at the other line, sounds interesting!

Only went top to bottom one as it was wetter than ever before and made it a little sketchy. There were also plenty of large rocks which had been washed down of kicked out by motor bikes. The top jump section was the wettest I have seen it too, making you slide off line and causing a real challenge for jumping!

Loads of fun today. Top section was dry and very fast - lots of air time! After the drop off it was a little damper, one short section was a little cut up by motorbikes, but running well. Loved it today, need to get up there in the dry more often.

Here on Wednesday evening with Matt and Tris. Great jumping, only went top to bottom once as we got into some digging and testing. Repaired the gap/hip jump. Built a new jump on the road (bit of a right hip). The plan here is to rebuild this using the hedge as a mini wall rider/hip jump type of thing - watch this space. Also started draining and drying the huge puddle to the right of the hip/gap jump. Plans here for a jump into the bowl and then a table top out - lots of work to do!

All good and running quite fast. Everything has grown a lot, so you cannot see the trail as well, but just adds to the fun! Really enjoyed it, also got a quick time too!

Overgrown a little in spots, but riding well. Dry and quick - got some lovely air off the jumps at the top!

Epic jumping! Loved the top section. Still quite overgrown and the new wider bars did not help. But loads of fun.
