When you take this alternate right turn, you can either take a left at the end of it ... which puts you into the most technical section of TimBuk2 and rewards you with a long roller, then bringing you around the loop back to this point. OR, you can take a right at the bottom on your first pass through, using this as a bypass and continuing on the rest of the trail.
