An out-and-back XC trail within Gladstone Provincial Park. The first climb out the Provincial Campground area is a significant push and will require a hike-a-bike for most people but after this section the trail is a moderate to intermediate XC ride with a lot of ups and downs. While not technically demanding this trail has quite a few sections that are unnerving to the beginner and even some intermediate riders may find it sketchy in places. There are periods of significant exposure on large side-hills where the trail is pure singletrack. Be careful and ride within your means as speed can be your enemy when the trail suddenly drops away from you.

Great easy riding trail for intermediate riders but maybe a bit too much for beginners. Only had time to ride half way then had to turn around....

A few of us went out today and it looked grim at the parking lot. However, actually not too bad, especially once you hit the climb. A little snow...

Couple of flow buster trees down along the ways. Too big for a handsaw.

Quite steep start including some hike a bike for me. But then fun, flowy with some exposure. Had lunch on the beach before heading back which was worth it.
