The Dino Cliffs Trail is a singletrack route along the low red cliffs just north of Washington. The trail itself is short (1.8 miles), but you must ride dirt road to get there. The ride is 4.3 miles as a loop and about the same as an out-and-back. There are some petrified dinosaur tracks near the trail. They can be hard to find. Good luck

You ABSOLUTELY have to ride this in the opposite direction than Trailforks shows, otherwise the only downhill you’ll have is a steep, straight...

I’d classify myself as a beginner but I loved this trail. I definitely had to walk my bike a few times. My husband and I would love to ride this one again.

Highly recommend starting at Grapevine and ride this east to west.

Wonderful trail! I live only 10 minutes away so I come to this trail often with friends. It has a lot of technical pieces to it and a few drop offs. There are TONS of places to take pictures if that's your thing. Its by far my favorite trail in Washington and in my opinion, is much more fun and entertaining than church rocks.

Our whole family loves this trail both for hiking and mountain biking! Can be riding either direction but we prefer Prospector south to the water tower/sandy hill. This direction is more downhill with a few really fun sandstone drops!

East to West is a blast on a bike. Lots of great drops. But you pay for it with the sand trap, vertical hike at the end to get back up to the road. Consider bailing early.

Rode east to west and had a blast. Lots of downhill and a few techy rock rolls made it worth the climb up the Grapevine road. Great views too!
