Eagle Tail is a fun climb up and along the ridge with awesome views of Colorado National Monument. Most of the trail is technical obstacles interspersed with flowy single-track, there are some very difficult sections toward the top of the lower section.

Dogs are allowed. No leashes required. Please don’t leave poop bags behind.

      The technical sections at the top are ready to destroy your derailleur and/or your knees. Definitely a challenge. Go get it!

      Climbed this in July and boy was it a doozy. The biggest issue was the loose rocks and soil. Incredibly dry trail. Several hike a bike sections. The views a long the trail were totally worth the climb. Definitely a downhill trial.
