Pre Nup is so named (at least this critic thinks) because you must have a mutual commitment between you and your bike before attempting this trail. The obstacles are frequent and fierce. Riding up the trail from Holy Cross, it climbs steeply over rugged but well-ridden terrain, to a hike-a-bike switchback, then around a canyon rim before making the final climb to connect back with Tabagauche before terminating at Little Park Road.

As a downhill it is steep and technical, challenging even the strongest riders. Overall it is a shorter and more interesting route than the upper section of Tabaguache (which boasts Widowmaker Hill).
