This is a very short spur trail that leads to a group of boulders that provide seating for a lunch/snack break. One of the boulders is an erratic that is conspicuously composed of light-colored granite. It was rafted into place by the Missoula floods while embedded in a huge iceberg. The granite probably originated in the Idaho panhandle.
