The Ferny Forest trails have been designed with the beginning mountain biker in mind. As the name suggests this circuit will take you through the beautiful forest that makes up the shoreline of the Ewen Maddock dam. There is a little bit of everything, rock gardens, log rollovers and a flow section but kept easy so as to not discourage anyone.

A fantastic fun trail that twists and turns through out the loop, lots of roots and small rock sections. For a beginner or for a skilled person that loves to go fast cornering. Very scenic

Rode for the first time, very enjoyable! Love the single track through the ferns and the brief technical sections scattered around.

Took our 5 year old boys for a ride along their first trail today and they loved it, completed in 2:08. They were noticeably better riders by the end of it. Highly recommended. We'll be back regularly building their skills!

This was a fun single track. Rode for the first time and definitely a track a beginner can learn on whilst experienced riders can test themselves on. Will bring the kids next time but just as happy to go solo and try faster Smile
On Sat morning (assume Sunday too) there is a coffee van setup that also does a bbq breakfast.

      Great beginner for mtb rider's.
Pleasant mostly flat and lots of shade and being in the forest, it's quite cool too..

I did this one on my gravel bike and it was seriously fun. Fast and flowy with a few light technical sections but nothing that got the lower clearance of the gravel bike hung up.
