This ride utilizes great new (2015) trails thanks to the Valley Mountain Bikers and Hikers group All two-way singletrack, with a few options from the start and a connecting trail in the middle. Great bermed corners make for great flow, and options to hit jumps or bike around them. The tread is mostly smooth dirt with a few rocks here and there Watch out for Moose!

Configured in a stacked loop system, the Government Peak Singletrack offers beginner and intermediate-level mountain bike trails and are designed in such a way as to allow new riders to progress in their skills the further up the mountain they go. From the old school mountain bike trails of the South Loop to the flowing curves and jump lines of the North Loop, the Government Peak Singletrack offers something for everyone!

Off the north end of the parking lot, go past the big sign and the singletrack starts to your left - it's well marked! The trail splits shortly after the start, left to the South loop and right to the North
