Watch out, there can be thorns on this trail. There are several tree species along this trail that have thorns that can cause flats. The trail starts out in the woods becoming a fun zippy trail flowing down a gradual descent. It weaves through the trees for a while riding over a few dirt mounds along the way. It eventually gets into a less wooded area and has a little field sections as the trail works its way towards the Poison Ivey Alley intersection. There is a cutoff that can be taken to the left to put you on Sunflower forest to return if need be at this intersection.

History:
A re-route to take the original trails off the levee in 2013 setting a portion of this trail running the opposite direction from what it was originally built. The name of the trail started from a point at the opposite end along a fence line corner now where Sunflower Forest Starts. The trail was closed in 2015 due to the ongoing maintenance on the west side levee at the time. In January 2020 BTU gave BVMBA the go to re-establish the trails on the West Loop. A cutoff was put in at the end designating the end of the trail, and was part of the chain link method used in the reestablishment of the trail.
