Starts out after the intersection of a cutoff and the joining of Chug-A-Ugh trails going in to a field following a fence line scattered with the occasional thorny mesquite tree. The field section is a little on the boring side of the ride, but about half way through it joins back into the trees where it is a little more pleasant, but still gradually ascending. The trail ends at an intersection where a cutoff comes from Doggy Dash and the start of Texas Twister.
History:
Around 2003 a return trail was cut along the fence line. It meander through the thorny mesquite trees in this area and ended at a large oak tree where Texas Twister started. In 2012 most of this trail was wiped out, all the trees it went through were gone after a pipe line went through. The trail was reestablished but had to hug the fence line to allow for creating an outbound trail to get off the levee in 2013. The trail was closed in 2015 due to ongoing maintenance on the west side levee. In January 2020 BTU gave BVMBA the go to reestablish the trails on the West Loop. This trail was renamed from Flat Tire Flyer to Sunflower Forest back in 2013 when it was re-established and covered with sunflower up to where it entered the woods now. Texas Twister started there. In May 2020, the name Flat Tire Flyer was given to its parallel outbound trail and the boundaries for Sunflower forest were changed to be identified at a cutoff at the each end of the trail so Sunflower forest took a portion of Texas Twister.
