This old flume line stays basically level between the Morrow entrance and the Cartwright housing development. It's wide and flat, with nice views over Summerland, and a fine place for beginners to get the feel for their bikes. If you start at the end of Cartwright Avenue, there's a gentle climb heading north that takes you up to the main flume elevation. The Morrow entrance is a bit easier. There's even a surviving section of the concrete irrigation flume that you can walk or ride in.
