Foundation Loop is the greenest trail on the Anthill. It is a great place to start for those just getting into mountain biking and looking to ride some singletrack, and it's also pretty fun for more advanced riders. This loop works well in either direction, and serves as the return climb back over to Climb Time for riders looking to ride laps on the progressive trails down from the peak.
It is the first machine-built mountain bike trail in the Brooktrails Greenbelt, built by Downtime Trails and Ben Chang in 2024 with a grant from the Community Foundation of Mendocino County and help from WAC volunteers.
