Nice trail with enough tech to make it enjoyable. Great views. Just exit onto the road and make a loop.

We’ll that sucks. Riding gander and some cowboys put up a fence at the end of old gander road where the trail meets the road. We walked it with the dogs this morning. No fence. Called ote. Had no idea why there would be a fence halfway down the trail

not very well maintained, has a raw, forgotten feel to it. rolling, meandering XC with some mild techy bits. it's like a less ridden, more bushwacky Wire Mesa.

Excellent trail as an out and back. Very similar to Wire, a solid blue, and less traffic. Best to ride East to West first starting from junction with Grafton Wash. Coming back a blast.

Reminds me of the Secret Trail on Gooseberry...which happens to be a black.

Love this one.
Never a dull moment.
The perfect blend of dirt trail through the forest, jaw dropping views and potentially life-changing split second decisions. Awesome trail.

I rode a loop of Gooseberry Mesa, followed by a loop of Wire Mesa and linked them with this trail. (36 mile ride). This was my favourite trail out of the lot! More cliffs, more views, more remote!

Absolutely excellent trail! So much fun and gorgeous views. I'm a decent rider and this was much more technical than I expected. Not used to walking so many obstacles on a blue, but hey! I'm a better rider now than I was this morning!

Trail is awesome!!! First time & the trail was great if your on boulders people have stacked rocks to show you the way.

I rode this for the first time last weekend. I loved it as an out and back. I especially like that it has a primitive feel and is not as well marked as Gooseberry North and South Rims. I also like the challenge of the prickly pear cactus that often seemed to be reaching out across the trail to pierce your tires. Gotta be aware and in control at all times!

This trail is the hidden gem of Gooseberry Mesa. It's 8.1 miles from the Windmill intersection to where it crosses a dirt road and becomes the Grafton Wash trail. Most people do it as a loop with the dirt road or as a bigger out and back. Chunkier than the rest of Gooseberry but with much less slickrock. Views are amazing the whole time.

Great trail! I agree with the other review, it's more work that Wire Mesa, but I thought that made it more interesting. For being an unsanctioned trail, it's pretty well maintained.

Fun trail. As an intermediate rider it was mostly ridable by me. Liked the challenge and the scenery. Compared to Wire Mesa this is slightly more difficult.

A loop with gravel road mileage for start and finish from the main gooseberry TH parking area is total 12.4 miles
