Named after the many different rocks and boulders on the trail, Gargoyle is very hard and technical going both ways. It is recommended to start at the intersection with Outpost and end at the bottom of Legburner. The hill to climb up after crossing the stream is extremely difficult to get up but the one after is easier. After climbing the two hills in the beginning, the rest is all downhill and it is very rocky.
