Turned round after 2 miles of pushing the bike up the steepest parts all on forestry commission tracks. Waste of time coming.
Quality not quantity when it matters

Don't bother with the red trail, the first 50% had only 1 descent which was a pump track. Who ever thought to have fire road descents would be okay should be in hell. Sign posts are missing from 2 junctions making me waste time looking for the route

Lovely route, lots of bits of single track followed by some exciting descents, all in beautiful woodland. What's not to love?
