This spectacular roller-coaster for mountain bikers is 6 km long. Over 200 steep corners, jumps and waves punctuate the slope down to Klosters. 50 steep face curves await riders, which a rider with good technique can master without braking. Over 30 tables - flattened dirt mounds with steep approaches - rise up. The combinations of high jumps, hard waves and even vertical curves are only suitable for experienced riders. The Gotschna Freeride Trail is sure to captivate riders with its pure riding pleasure, thanks to the moderately steep terrain from Gotschnaboden right down to the valley station of the Gotschna cable car. The standard for the new trail in Klosters was the legendary Whistler A-Line on Whistler Mountain in Canada. The overwhelmingly positive reactions from the first season show that Davos Klosters has succeeded in creating a trail with a good flow for all riding levels.

I wonder if tourism/marketing people have actually watched a video of someone riding-, or have ridden a-line. No disrespect to the trail-crew, but this trail is like any other average European bikepark trail. Sorr for the rant, but I get angry whenever I read about pointless Whistler references

So, you rate the trail based on the description / name of the trail? That’s a win for the marketing team and a loss for the trailcrew.
This trail is very flowy and is a blast to ride. Is it A-Linesque? No.
I didn’t even see any reference to A-Line when i was there, i just rode it (and had fun).

My rating refers to the trail. I personally find little flow braking down an awful lot of wooden bridges Smile
Luckily there’s different tastes and Davos/Klosters has so many amazing trails to enjoy!

...at least you ALL had fun while riding! The name its because it was the first built biketrack (Freeride piste) in the region of Klosters Davos and the rest you can take with a little 'zwincker';-) We love Whistler & A-Line a lot and look up to... Love the ride...
