This is the true Griffith Peak trail that breaks off of the Charleston Peak South Trail and takes you to the summit. According to USFS maps this trail continues a trailhead a the end of Harris Springs Road. There is a trailhead there, and an old jeep road, but there does not appear to be a clear path between them.
