The Half Time trail is a short loop that is typically used to access other trails in the Colorow Trail network. It is also a green level trail that can be used as a nice introduction to New Castle riding. It is smooth, with little technical challenge so beginner riders can enjoy it, and all riders can use it as a nice, quick loop if they are short on time.

The Half Time trail starts at the junction with the Colorow Trail East, Colorow Trail West and the Colorow Spur trail. Use this trail to access other trails in the Colorow Trail network.

From the junction, take the Half Time trail straight. At the first junction, you can go left or right, both trails are part of the Half Time trail and access the same trails. For this description, it is assumed that you turned left. Soon, you'll come to another trail junction on your left. Take a left to ride Zeni's Trail. Continue straight on the Half Time trail. The next trail junction you come to on your left is where Zeni's Trail ends, if ridden in the suggested direction, continue straight on the Half Time trail.

The next trail junction you come to on your left is where the Sweet Mother trail ends if ridden in the suggested direction, continue straight on the Half Time trail. The next trail junction you come to on your left is where the Crimson Ride trail begins. Climb Crimson Ride to access the Sweet Mother trail and the Jasper trail, continue straight on the Half Time trail.

The next trail junction you come to is where the Ole' Roller trail begins, go straight to ride Ole' Roller or go right to continue on the Half Time trail. Arrive back at the junction where the Half Time trail loop splits, go straight to arrive back at the Colorow Trail junction.
