The trail section on the west side of the Hells Hole Trail is in decent condition and has recently been worked on. It crosses the river 3 times.
The trail section on the east side of Hells Hole Trail is hard to find in places and then picks back up again. It is in the floodplain and can get easily overgrown with willows and other brush. This trail has not been maintained in a while. There is one river crossing along this section of the trail.
note that this trail is incorrect on some maps.
Water is available in the West Fork. Be sure to purify it.
