The top starts with a deep and steep moto rut. It's fast and tight below the entrance trench. Midway down, the crux is a short steep section of rock and root drops called the waterfall. The majority of the trail is good moderate riding with a handful of very difficult technical sections.

Best as a downhill but can be ridden uphill with a lot of hike-a-bike.

It can not be stressed enough how steep the beginning of this trail is. Once through the moto rut section it is a beautiful tech filled piece of single track that shouldnt be missed. Aggressive tires with great braking traction are a must.

We used to ride this around 1988 with under the chainstay roller cam brakes. Literally couldn’t stop the bike on the first section, just slow it down to walking speed. I blame this trail for my lifelong mountain bike addiction.
