Rode this again a few weeks ago. It's literally in the best condition it's ever been. Forest service has done an incredible job.

We followed the Trailforks route and both came out with about 1200 ft of elevation gain. Definitely not 600 ft.

Be aware that the Hidden Lakes Trail spits out onto the Franklin Nature Trail which prohibits bikes. I rode the nature trail before I realized this. The issue though, is that as Hidden Lakes allows bikes but the Franklin Nature Trail does not, how exactly do you get from the end of Hidden Lakes to the road? Luckily when I rode it, it was quiet so I didn't annoy anyone.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
