The top section begins in the trees on a familiar dirt and pine needle trail, then you emerge out into the open clearing greeted by a rocky trail that's fast flowing with lots of well-sculpted berms. The rocky trail surface is quite different to other tracks at thornielee but can be a nice break from the mud on wet days.
