The "Hobo - Mid" is a natural trail that starts with a dark "tunnel" through some dense conifers, followed by a short rock garden. The trail has been enhanced by local trail builder with berms, drops and some re-routing on loamy, flowing terrain through mature conifers. The finish finishes at a forestry road where you can either turn left to climb back into Kirkton Glen or carry straight on down another singletrack to the village. Pretty fast and flowy and works reasonably well in the wet.

Access Info

Park at Balquhidder Hall or Balquhidder Kirk and access via forestry roads and the "Lost Trail" (which is no longer a single track since the forestry built a rod on its line)

Large tree down across trail, can be bypassed but you need to dismount. Trail is pretty wet and muddy but for some reason seems to be holding up...
